Treechada Petcharat - Thai Actress and Model


Treechada Petcharat, better known by her stage name "Poyd", is a famous Thai actress, model, and transgender activist. She was born on October 5, 1986, in Pattaya, Thailand.

Growing up, Treechada knew that she was different from other boys her age. She began to embrace her feminine side and started to transition in her teenage years. Despite facing discrimination and intolerance from some members of society, Treechada remained determined to live her life authentically.

In 2004, Treechada participated in the Miss Tiffany's Universe beauty pageant, a pageant exclusively for transgender women. She won the competition and became a well-known figure in Thailand's LGBTQ+ community.

Following her success at Miss Tiffany's Universe, Treechada began her acting career. She appeared in numerous Thai dramas and movies, including "The White Storm", "From Vegas to Macau II ", and "Witch Doctor". She quickly became one of Thailand's most popular actresses, admired not only for her talent but also for her courage and outspokenness as a transgender woman.

In addition to her successful acting career, Treechada is also an activist and advocate for transgender rights. She has spoken out against discrimination and worked to raise awareness of the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community in Thailand. In 2015, she was appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme, where she used her platform to advocate for gender equality and human rights.
