Kevin Balot - Miss International Queen 2012

Kevin Balot is a Filipino beauty pageant titleholder, model, and LGBTQIA+ advocate. He was born on January 12, 1993, in the Philippines. Kevin is known for his groundbreaking win in the Miss International Queen beauty pageant in 2012, where he became the first Filipino and the first non-Thai to win the title.

Growing up, Kevin was open about his gender identity and experienced discrimination and bullying because of it. However, he remained resilient and pursued his passion for beauty pageants, which he saw as a platform to raise awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community and promote acceptance and equality.

In 2012, Kevin competed in the Miss International Queen beauty pageant in Thailand, which is considered the most prestigious beauty pageant for transgender women. Despite facing tough competition from over 20 other contestants, Kevin wowed the judges and the audience with his charisma, talent, and beauty, and was crowned as the winner.
