Who Is Lux Pascal?
Lux Pascal is a Chilean actress whose career has grown across television, film and theater. With years of acting training behind her, she has steadily built a body of work that reaches well beyond any single role.
Lux has also spoken openly about being a transgender woman, while emphasizing that there is much more to her life and work than her identity alone.
Building Her Craft
Before reaching a wider international audience, Lux studied theater at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She later continued her training at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Drama.
Her career has included Chilean television as well as international productions, with appearances in projects including Narcos, The Prince and The Pack.
Taking the Lead in Miss Carbón
A major new chapter arrived with Miss Carbón, in which Lux plays Carla Antonella Rodríguez, a transgender woman who challenged barriers to work in the coal mines of Río Turbio, Argentina.
The role gave Lux the opportunity to lead a feature film while portraying a real transgender woman's story with humanity at its center.
Making Her Own Name
Lux comes from a well-known acting family, but her career has increasingly established an identity of its own. Years of theater training, television work and film roles have helped her develop a path that is distinctly hers.
With Miss Carbón bringing her to an even wider audience, Lux continues to build a career shaped by craft, curiosity and the desire to tell meaningful stories.
