Kelly van der Veer ( Born May 6 1980 ) is a Dutch transsexual media personality .

Kelly van der Veer was born in Hilversum under the name Ferry van der Veer. At a young age, Van der Veer participated in Children for Children and could be heard on the CDs of episodes 12 to 15. A few years later, in 1997, Van der Veer was the winner of the Veronica program De Travestieshow as a transvestite . , presented by Robert ten Brink .

On February 7, 2000, Kelly van der Veer  underwent sex reassignment surgery . She used the first name Kelly for quite some time before this procedure.

She gets national fame with her participation in 2001 in the third edition of Big Brother - The Battle, in which she placed 7th. After that, she released a few less successful singles and regularly appeared as a guest in all kinds of television programs.
