Transgender teen from Fallbrook dies in apparent suicide

Family members confirmed the 16-year-old took her own life, but details surrounding the suicide are not being revealed according to 10 News.

Bullied, picked on, excluded from friends circles she jumped to her death. Max Disposit, executive director of the North County LGBTQ Resource Center in Oceanside posted this April 3rd.

“This afternoon, the family of a teen that is very dear to our hearts, informed us of the passing of their daughter. Taylor Alesana committed suicide last night. Taylor was very close to us and to the Center yet, she has struggled for acceptance. Just a month after the loss of Sage we have to say good-bye to another dear friend. We are sad and angry again. Taylor, you were a beautiful girl, we will never stop trying to make this world a better place.”

The North County LGBT center posted on their blog about her sucide. It reads in part. “Taylor had many friends here at the Center but the support she received was not enough to counter the very difficult time she had at Fallbrook High School. As a transgender teen she was constantly picked upon, bullied and attack by her peers. With few adults to turn to, and with no support from her school, her life became too difficult. Taylor was a beautiful and courageous girl, and all she wanted was acceptance.
