It's so sad to think that most Filipino is very good at discriminating transgender people only foreign people appreciate the beauty of transgender woman.
I remember, when I was in my college days,I'm always refussing to use male comfort room. I really want to use female comfort room but because im not a biological woman,i cannot use the female c.r. Sometimes I cannot hold-on not to pee,so what im doing is to check the female comfort room first,if no one is inside then I will pee. If someone is inside then I cannot use it I need to wait if no one is inside. why? Because,in my past experience I used comfort room with other girls,then the girls call the security guard, the security guard hold me in my arms and pulled me outside the comfort room. I am so embarrased that day,but i can't do nothing but to pretend that im not embarrased. Sometimes I using the comfort room together with my very close girl friends,we put face powder,lipstick and comb our hair togeher just like a typical girls fixing themself inside in a comfort room.
In my own opinion,discrimination is always happen in comfort room, I remember my transgender friends, we go to shopping store or department store then, we look for female comfort room to retouch ourself, to check if we were still looking good or messy. Then we go inside a comfort room,facing the mirror and put face powder and lips stick then suddenly security guard is there,scolded us,asking why are we here. Then he let us go outside while scolding us. He asking why we don't use a male comfort room? We just ignore him and all the people looking at us,we just walk away with and pretending that we are not embarrased.
Why im not using a male comfort room?!
I tried to use male comfort room,but most Filipino man here is very rude for us transgender. They thinking that we want sex,or we just want too have a peep with their penis.
We don't know what to use,both comfort room are not good with us. I think we need to have our own comfort room.
Just like in Quezon City, they will gonna have an All Gender CR. Thats very good to hear, im sure all transwoman there is very happy. I just hope that the entire Philippines will have this kind of comfort room. No transgender person will be humiliated again.
